Professional Experience

Since 1999 I have been working to SingularLogic S.A.. I started as junior programmer in the R&D (Research & Development Division). During the first 3 years I was learning different technologies and programming languages, gradually becoming expert in Delphi working with 3-tier application models and complicated distribution systems (File Server Installations over TCP or shared folders using Wise Installation System).

For a year I was moved to the "e-Channel" team to help them with their distribution models and work on their Client Side Agent. It was then that I first came face to face with Internet technologies (JSP & JMS). It was then that I started reading about active server pages, and started creating my first websites.

After the project finished I returned to the R&D and started working on reporting tools, SEn's MIS module and 3-tier conversion techniques. In my free time I tried to create a Knowledge Management Portal to easily share the knowledge between developers inside the company. My job's description was always to read, follow the technology and try to apply it inside the corporate plans.

2006 I joined the army, and coming back on 2007 I am put in charge of the "Internet Services" division. From that point on I started specializing in Web Technologies. Website development (Open Source Solutions Joomla, Drupal, Mambo), Web Services implementation, RSS Feeds, Online Activation systems, Application Web Distribution models etc. At the same time I was using my skills to computerize various internal corporate processes. With that my division was upgraded to "Internet Applications & Infrastructure Development". I was in charge of this division until September 2010. During that time we delivered a series of Web/SaaS applications, including SingularLogic's B2C/B2B Webshop, TaxFriend.gr, singularlogic.eu, ifestos.mnec.gr etc

On October 2010 I decided that it was time I took charge of my professional life, so I left the private sector to become a free-lancer. From then on I co-operate with various companies doing contracted work developing high-end websites and iPhone Applications.
